Releasing the Treasure will allow you to discover the fascinating and little-known world of deaf culture. Explore the history of deafness through one of the works of the Sisters of Providence: the education of deaf girls at the Montreal Institution for the Deaf and Dumb, which opened its doors to end the isolation of deaf girls in Quebec. It is also within this institution that the Congregation of the Sisters of Our Lady of the Seven Sorrows was born.
