Under the pen of Glazounov, the cello of the young Canadian soloist with international renown, Bryan Cheng, becomes a minstrel and sings with melancholy the courtly loves of the Middle Ages. Then, with the Variations on a Rococo Theme, he is a chameleon, changing his voice to develop with an increasingly impressive virtuosity Tchaikovsky's theme, inspired by 18th century music.
