The Conseil des métiers d'art du Québec (CMAQ) has the mission of representing, supporting, and developing the field of crafts in Quebec. Recognized organization according to the Law on the professional status of visual artists, craftspeople, and writers and their contracts with broadcasters (Law S-32.01), the CMAQ brings together and represents professional artisans in the field of crafts, supports their professional development as well as dissemination.
