Named in 2023 by the CBC among the 30 most promising young musicians in Canada, Marion Portelance, a cellist, performs as a soloist with orchestras in Montreal, London, and France. An active chamber musician, she performs in the United Kingdom, United States, Canada, and Switzerland. Having received various awards from Canadian and British competitions, she has the honor of playing in 2023 on the cello of King Charles III for the Coronation concert at Windsor Castle, broadcast by the BBC.
