Allison Au is a saxophonist/composer based in Toronto who has been awarded at the famous Juno Awards in Canada. She has performed on numerous tours in both Canada and the United States. In 2017, she was the winner of the TD Grand Jazz Prize at the Montreal International Jazz Festival. She also won the Sting Ray Rising Star Award at the Halifax Jazz Festival in 2017 and was a finalist the same year for the Emerging Jazz Artist Award from the Toronto Arts Foundation.
