Spain, 17th century. Don Quixote is a dreamer in search of an ideal who lives through chivalry novels. Convinced that he is called to restore justice and defend the oppressed, he sets off on adventures with his faithful squire, Sancho Panza. Both comical and touching, Don Quixote sees giants where there are only windmills, and princesses in beautiful gypsies.
