Wynton Marsalis, Managing and Artistic Director of Jazz at Lincoln Center, began his musical training at the age of 12 and has established himself as an essential artist, alternating between jazz and classical music. Winner of 9 GRAMMY Awards and the first jazz composer to win the Pulitzer Prize, he has recorded over 1,500 tracks and created monumental works such as All Rise and several ballets, symphonies, and suites.
