Residual Elements/Meditations on the Fragmented summons the spiritual qualities of objects of reclaiming. Artist Yanira Collado anthologizes diasporic stories by reshaping textiles, paper, cardboard, carbon paper, paint, oil pastels, wood, and soap. In this process, the artist develops a semantic universe that extends from the Caribbean to the southern United States.
