Chaabi music is a variety of traditional musical styles that spread throughout North Africa, from Moroccan chaabi to Algerian chaabi, to Egyptian chaabi (sometimes called Mehragan). This type of music is festive and is often played at community gatherings or weddings to celebrate occasions or each other.
