Stereolab is a British band with a unique style blending 1950s-1960s pop and krautrock rhythms, pioneering the post-rock genre. Their music, described as avant-pop, uses vintage instruments like Moog synthesizers and Vox and Farfisa organs. They founded their own label, Duophonic Records, with the help of The Prince's Trust.
