About event

For this special commission, the Anishinaabe and French artist Caroline Monnet has created a monumental photographic portrait representing eight indigenous women and a child in an enchanted forest. The harmonious rhythms, colors, and natural shapes of the image recall the visual language of the Art Nouveau movement of the early 20th century.
