About event
From the artisan village of Saint-Henri tanneries, to the industrial and prosperous city, to today's rapidly transforming neighborhood, each era has left its mark on the history of the metropolis. The exhibition unveils objects from the 18th and 19th centuries found in recent archaeological excavations that testify to the artisanal past of tanning and explores industrial evolution through the diversity of products manufactured by the factories of Saint-Henri.
