About event

The ballet Daphnis et Chloé is a poetic evocation of an idyllic nature and a Greece dreamed of by Ravel. The shimmering colors of the orchestra and the finesse of the writing give this score a delicate sensuality. Another jewel in the program: Prokofiev's Sinfonia concertante. This work of character, tinged with sarcastic humor, will be performed by the immense talent of cellist Alisa Weilerstein.
