LA POEXE is a power duo consisting of baritone guitar and drums, formed by Marc Mackin and his childhood friend Charles Thibeault. The band offers mostly instrumental compositions occasionally punctuated by short, thunderous poems with seemingly cynical and nihilistic themes, if they were intelligible, and labyrinthine structures interpreted with a vigor reminiscent of extreme sports or a gothic version of Elvis on crystal meth.
