Matthew John Slim, known as Mat Jon, is a jazz pianist and composer based in Montreal, Quebec. Specializing in improvisational music, he draws inspiration from swing music and jazz composers. Mentored by pianists Josh Rager and Min Rager, Mat Jon has performed numerous times in Montreal. Currently completing his undergraduate studies at Concordia University, he continues to make a name for himself in the local jazz scene.
