Every week, Pierre Brochant (Normand D'Amour) and his friends organize a dinner where each person must bring a fool. The one who has found the most spectacular fool is declared the winner. Tonight, Brochant is ecstatic, he has found a rare gem, a world-class fool, François Pignon (Laurent Paquin), a civil servant at the Ministry of Finance and passionate about matchstick models.
